From a customer and friend . . . Mike - God bless you! You were a very funny and very genuine man. I still remember the first day we met, when I bought my first Mercedes-Benz, and the friendship that took hold that day. You will be greatly missed, but I also know - and encourage others to remember - just starting talking to Mike, knowing that he hears you from Heaven, and unless he's busy, he'll speak to you in your mind.

Mike was such a great person. My husband and I met him at Mercedes about 2 or so years ago and we felt like we knew him forever. The nicest guy! Always wanting to help and so very trustworthy. Always had a smile and such a big personality. I can go on and on about how a great guy he was. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. The heavens really gained another angel. Our condolences to the family. May he RIP.

Mike was always good for a laugh. He would frequently assume the roll of a spy or a mobster when we would meet up for coffee. A very special personality, he would always leave you feeling good no matter what mood you were in.

Lorraine and I bought our house next door to the Guido's in Surfside during the pandemic sight unseen and when we finally came down in the fall of 2020 I was cleaning out the garage and taking things to the curb wearing my Yankee hoodie - I didn't see Mike and Gina pull of of their driveway and he was almost past my house next door and he backed up and said are you a Yankee fan noticing the hoodie and that's how we met Mike and Gina - like other people have said Mike had a great personality and we are lucky to have such fine neighbors - and to know Mike. With sincere sympathies Steve, Lorraine, Mike and Kyle

My wife, Connie, and I first met Mike when we bought her Mercedes at MB Automotive, and then my BMW a few months later. We have just heard of his passing today and are heartbroken. He was the most sincere and honest automobile salesperson I have ever met. We liked him instantly and have kept in touch every so often. I am sure we will never buy a car from anyone like him again, and we are so very sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Many prayers for your healing. I will always remember Mike as very peaceful, loving and funny. Mike was my favorite cousin and will always remember his kindness. I will always remember how Mike went above and beyond after my dad died for my mom. (Aunt Helen). I also remember the love he had for his family and how he needed to get back home to them. I always knew how much he loved Aunt Helen, uncle Hank,my sister and I and that love was always reciprocated! I´m devastated to read this obituary. I´m so sorry. Aunt Helen and uncle Hank were there to greet him Much love and many blessings

When I first meet Mike he was just hired at the dealership I worked at. My first thought was he's a powerhouse . He was always kind and thoughtful. He ask me one day if I needed anything from him I said just let me know when you are here. Then next day I found a box of Krispy Kreme Donuts on my desk. Well it was game on from then, donuts, cupcakes, led to pens, paperclips, staples, and so on..he always found a way to let me know he was in. Mike was one of the most kind and thoughtful person I had ever worked with. I know right now he is smiling down on us from Heaven knowing he will see us all again..Until we meet again RSP

Mike was my boss then he became my friend then he became my big brother. I could always call or text and get whatever life lesson I needed at the time. Whatever our discussion life, car business, yankees, giants, rangers always ended with how our families were doing. Mike loved his family and was super proud of his children.
Big Mike you will be missed!!!!

When I think of Mike, I remember his deep love and devotion to his family, his warmth, smile, expressive eyes, kindness, generosity of spirit, giving nature, an inviting presence when he was in a room, and so much more. Like everyone, Mike had his vulnerabilities, but unlike others, he was willing to use his experiences to help others if he could. That was a rare thing to find.
Mike and his beautiful family were our neighbors and became our very good friends... so many holidays and birthdays shared...so many memories (and photos!)...Mike was a true friend to us... he was wonderful with my atypical child--Mike treated him like he would any other kid--that's a gift. When my parents moved here from Chicago, they were like fish out of water--Mike welcomed them, showed them kindness and helped them however he could--they had an instant friend, and my dad, especially felt a particular sense of camaraderie with Mike... One year, after a blizzard on a dialysis day for my mom... Mike worked for hours with my husband to dig out the drives, and then he DROVE my mom up for her treatment... After the events of 9/11, when I got home from my government job, Mike saw me pull into our driveway, walked across the lawn, and hugged me without a word. We were all so scared and in shock, and it was just what I needed. Mike and my husband were from completely different worlds... and yet, there was an easy and fast connection. One day, a clearly rabid fox strayed into the fenced area of the Guidos' back yard... Gina called to see if my husband could help... meanwhile, Mike stunned it by hurling a brick at it--yes, he hit it--allowing my husband to "take care of it" up close... THAT story was revisited quite a bit... There are lots of stories, lots of kindnesses... a funny phone message I still have because it was "so Mike..."
Mike was a good man, he loved his family, and was a true and devoted friend to those of us lucky enough to have crossed paths with him and shared part of his story. Rest in peace, dear Mike... you will be missed, but you will always be valued, loved, and remembered...

My wife and I lived next door to Mike and Gina. In those days, we were "house poor" with a 3-year old toddler. So, to save money on gas, I was driving my wife´s totally worn-out 1988 Nissan Stanza instead of my fuel thirsty pickup. That didn´t sit well with Mike, and he asked me why I didn´t just buy a more reliable car. I told him that I couldn´t afford it at the moment. Then, he asked a typical "Mike" question: "If you could afford one, what color would it be?" "Red" I said.
The next evening, when I cam home from work, there was a brand new red Corolla in my driveway, and Mike was sitting at my kitchen table. "Here´s your car." He said "And I brought the paperwork home so you don´t have to come to the dealership. Sign here, here, here and here. And don´t worry, you can afford it." What a guy!
The following year, my wife told me that my car had been recalled, and that Mike would take it to the dealership for me to "have it taken care of". When I came home that evening, everyone was standing in the middle of our driveway, and when I got out of the loaner, they stepped aside and there was a spoiler on the trunk of my car! Wow!
He was one of a kind, and irreplaceable.

My husband Bob & I were blessed to meet Mike through cars, but it was his effervescent personality and beautiful friendship that pulled us in. We had plans to do some fun stuff but for both our gentle giants time ran out. Bob preceded Mike by one month, but was surely in the reception line welcoming him to his eternal home. What helped me the most as I walked this new chapter of life is that they are both in such a glorious place, that if offered to return to us, they would decline. Out of pain and fully healed, we have to remind ourselves how lucky we are to have known Mike and consider him a real friend. Our love & God´s blessings to his beautiful family.

Even though its been a while I have such fond memories of him. I remember staying over in the house in Maryland for a few days when the kids were young. Yankees were in playoffs and he didnt want me to leave because they were winning and I'd jinx it... we even had to use the same sheets each night. He was a character and I know we will all miss him so

Nobody ever really understands what struggles a person is battling. It's easy to judge a person's choices, but much more difficult to choose empathy and understanding removing your own emotion from the equation. We all eventually have to look in the mirror and be okay with the person staring back at us. Life doesn't come with instructions, we're all just finding our own way, doing the best we can, making it up as we go. The most impactful lessons we learn in life are often provided by the way we react to the circumstances presented to us. At times like this it's important to remember we're all time travelers on our own personal journey, learning, observing, growing...Keep the good memories in your heart, let go of the hurt...Life really is too short. RIP Superman.
