Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Our hearts hurt for you. I remember that night at Pam & Rocky's several years ago and you and Mike sang together! I remember it like it was yesterday because it made such an impression on me.

Our prayer is that you will feel Jehovah's love for you through the scriptures and through the wonderful brotherhood we have the privledge of being a part of.

May you experience Jehovah's warm love for you and feel his figurative arms embracing you with tender compassion.

You will be in our prayers,
Wesley & Michelle Burdette... Beaumont, Tx.

Dear Sandra, Tammy & Daphne. I met Mike when I was a teenager in Houston and reconnected after many years. Always a pleasure to be around him. I am sure the friends are surrounding you with comforting words from our Creator Jehovah. My last memory of him was his wonderful talk given at the South Congregation here in Beaumont. Sheree and I hope to see you in person soon to offer our deep love and sympathy. Danny & Sheree Zimmerman

Guy Family,

I had a friend that lived off Willard st growin up. Mike was his uncle and we would ride our bikes by his vw shop often. No matter how busy Mike was he took the time to listen to two kids that were up to no good at a young age. If it was not for Mike, I think we would have both taken paths in the wrong direction.

While my friend or I became Jehovah's Witnesses, we both kept the Christian faith. I have not seen my friend in years and have always wondered what happen to him. I went to the old neighborhood to see if Mike was still there, but I had seen that he had sold moved.

Please let this be a note of comfort to the Guy family that he did change one life for the good.

God Bless You

Dear Sandra, Pleasse accept my deepest symphathies in regards to the loss of Mike. I have known him for almost 40 years now...when I first came to Houston. He was and always has been one of the best brothers I have ever known; An excellent teacher and faithful servant of Jehovah. That is what Jehovah's sees and remembers..."He is not unfaithful so as to forget the love we have shown for his name". (Heb. 6:10). You know He will take into consideration the "ravages" of this old life that plagues us all and will yearn to give life back to men like Mike. I personally know that the resurrection theme may not mean much to you at the time of this loss...but in time...it will take a stronger hold on you than you can imagine. Just know that many of us, your friends and brotherhood, grieve with you and stand ready to assist you at any time. My sincere prayers are with you and the family. Your's and Mike's brother - David J. Zimmerman - Magnolia, Texas

Dear Sandra, Tammy and Daphne,

I was so very sad to hear about Mike. He was such a fine brother. I have always appreciated his abilities; I remember when my children were young, Mike gave the best talks of anyone I had ever heard. I always looked forward to his talks. Sandra, through the years I would see you all at the circuit assemblies and I would try to come over and say "hi". You both were always so kind and Mike had such a pleasant smile on his face.

Please know that your family are in my prayers. May Jehovah give you strength to deal with the loss of your dear loved one.
