Michael A. Herman

Michael A. Herman, born June 22, 1956, left us to go home to the Lord on June 7, 2007. Michael (Mike) born in Little Rock, Arkansas, was a long time resident of Denver, Colorado where he began the M.A.H. Appraisal Service and became a super Denver Broncos fan. Mike protected his country while serving in the army as a missile recon specialist. He is survived by his loving wife Johnnie Davis Herman, his dear parents Kirke and Pearl Herman; sister Debra Herman Buggs; brothers Kirke "Rocky" Herman Jr. (Teresa) and Alex "Tank" Herman (Diane). Mike is also survived by beautiful step-children Stella Henry and Chris Williams, and adorable grandchildren Tamieka Henry and Taylor Henry. Mike was preceded in death by wonderful grandparents Alex and Inez Herman, and Mrs. Inez Coleman Lemay. Mike is loved and missed by nephews Jon-Michael Herman, Gavin Herman, Jermiah Herman and nieces Rafanee Herman and Rita Baldwin; and of course, loving memories of his uncle Christopher C. Mercer and Alexis M. Herman, in addition to his numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and treasured friends. Mike will always be remembered for his loyalties, generosity, hard work, his zest for life, his laugh, and most of all his ability to let everyone around him know that he cared about them. Mike was a wonderful special person. A one of a kind man with debonair style. He was a worldwide traveler, and he and Johnnie spent time in the Islands, Paris, France and Mexico. We only hope Jesus knows how to play dominos and likes to eat gumbo. Funeral services will be Monday, June 18, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church located at 1321 S. Van Buren Street in Little Rock. The Rosary and Family Hour will take place Sunday, June 17, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 West 12th, Little Rock, Arkansas (501-661-9111). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church Building Fund in Michael A. Herman's name.
