Micheal has a gentle and loving spirit. I speak in present tense because though absent from the body his spirit is eternal and has only changed location. He lived life and loved people. Anyone who met him loved him. I am so glad he and Paula met eachother. Michael is free from pain and concerns of this world and resides with Christ in Heaven. This is indeed thee hope of every Christian.
Paula I look forward to celebrating Michaels life with you in Sept!! I stand with you during this difficult time my dear friend. God has plans for you in this new chaptr of life!!

Man, I will miss him. I so hoped to go visit him and sleep on his couch in Portugal and stay up late and just talk.
May his memory be eternal!

I first met Michael when we worked for Renew Data. I enjoyed talking with him and getting to know him. God speed, Michael!

What lovely man Michael was, and he and Paula together were a strong and loving unit who brought joy to so many lives. Wayne and I met them through our daughter, Deirdre, as part of the Equestrian world and we became firm friends. Last year I met them in Cornwall, England for a wonderful day of fellowship and love. I will always treasure that day and look forward to staying friends with Paula as we negotiate widowhood together since Wayne has been waiting for Michael in Heaven for several weeks now, preparing a place for Michael beside him. God bless.

Mike played sax in our college band in Nacogdoches. We all lived together in a big mansion across North Street from SFASU built in 1924. I think there's a car wash and a Sonic there now. Mike was always super chill with great wit and intellect.

My husband and I found the Get Age Fit gym and were blessed to have Michael as our coach. My husband had recently suffered a serious health challenge and he was finding it difficult to do anything. Michael was amazing. He coached both of us, novices to weight training, with a perfect balance of patience and motivation. As you all know, he was uber friendly, a great conversationalist, interesting, and cared very much about others. All of this helped to make what we felt was the drudgery of the gym doable. He kept us coming back again and again for a year. The transformation in my husband was remarkable and I give Michael great credit for that. We were lucky to get to know and love Paula as well. Wonderful couple. We were happy for them to pursue their dream in Portugal, but sad to see them go. Michael will forever be a part of our lives.

The first time we met Michael was in Tavira. We were new in Tavira, Portugal from Georgetown, Tx and looking for an English speaking church.
Our first visit was on a Friday evening of worship music which and also included Brian Bland a good friend of Michael“s and another excellent musician.
Michael was so friendly and welcoming. Also such a good musician and Christian.
We were in Tavira 7 months and we are so blessed to have met Michael and Paula while there.
Michael was an inspiration to all who knew him.

God Speed, Mike! I will always remember our PHS Eagle Band days -- pep rallies, football games, band practice and concerts. Rest well, my friend!
