Michael J. Kuzdzal Jr. 1980 - 2023 Southwick With profound sadness and broken hearts, the family of Mike Kuzdzal announces his unexpected and untimely passing on March 7, 2023, during the Worm Moon. He was the beloved son of Katrina (Hutchison) Deragon and Tom Deragon. He was born in Bossier City LA on June 2, 1980 and raised in the Springfield area where he attended local schools. Mike wed the love of his life Beth (Skowron) Kuzdzal in 2014 and together they welcomed their three cherished daughters Lacey Elizabeth, Mikayla Katrina, and Emma "Irene". Mike had a forever love of anything with a motor. He was fortunate to be successful using his talent in the automotive industry in sales achieving the position of sales manager at Metro Jeep in Chicopee. Mike was a sports enthusiast and was an avid fan of our New England teams especially the Patriots and the Red Sox. He also appreciated the college level football teams and was passionate about his Oregon Ducks. He enjoyed the outdoors riding around his "compound" on his quad, dirt bike, or snowmobile with his daughters. Being very outgoing, and a fun loving spirit Mike looked forward to each and every opportunity to host his family and friends in his man cave where he displayed all of his and his "Gramps" sports memorabilia pictures and autographs. The times he treasured the most were those spent with his family as he loved them furiously and his love had no bounds. His love and kindness will remain in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. Surviving Mike is his devoted wife Beth and his adored girls, his proud mom and stepfather Katrina and Tom Deragon and his cherished brother Jeffrey "Jefe", Deragon. He will be greatly missed on a day to day basis by his many cousins especially Gina and Joe Hutch – whom were by his side through the end of his journey and his countless co-workers, and friends. Services for Mike will be held on Monday March 13, 2023 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main St beginning with calling hours from 4-7 pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 9:30 A.M. and proceed to Christ Lutheran Church in Southwick for an 11:00 A.M.service. A Go Fund Me has been set up to aid in the help of unexpected expenses as a result of his untimely death. Mike will be forever "shaking hands and kissing babies."
