I was saddened when I heard of Michael`s passing. I worked with Michael at Statscan and enjoyed our chats. He always had something to say that made me laugh. I will pray that your memories will carry you through this tough time.

To my dear friends Pauline and her son Sean who I saw grow up to become a man and a father himself with a beautiful son. I say to you words have failed me for the first time in my life on how I feel your loss. We share a life-time together and now it won't be the same without Mike. The friendship I had with Micheal was because of you Pauline. I feel your pain so deeply I am at a loss on how I can even imagine how I could even attempt to ease the pain all three of you are suffering right now.. My pain is fed by your pain of loosing your Rock. Keep the faith and believe in what happens next.
Mike - God speed - you are missed more than you ever thought and more than life itself now and forever.

Please accept my condolences. I knew Mike for many years -- parking control. Although I did not work in the parking control area, I worked in the same building. He and I used to talk horses. A very pleasant person always with something good to say. He will be greatly missed by many.

To the Larocque Family,
I had the good fortune to work with Mike during my days at Statcan. There are two things that stick in my mind; first that after a tiring and sometimes thankless day he always left with a smile and
second, his amazing memory -there was no license plate getting under his radar!
God Bless and Mike, God Speed

Pauline, Family & Friends,
Just heard about the passing of Mike and am truly saddened by the news. My sincere sympathy and condolences during this difficult time.
While I lost touch with Mike a few years ago, after reading previous entries, it is clear to me that Mike's qualities such as his demeanour, sense of humor, caring, and generosity were never compromised. He certainly appears to have affected/influenced numerous people's lives - only the way he could.
R.I.P. Mike.

I was extremely saddened by the news of Mike's sudden departure. I knew Mike from the first day he started at Stats and we quickly became friends. We would talk about the renovations he always had under way or show me some new cartoon artwork he was working on...
Although he had a tough job to do, he never let it affect his disposition. He was always a very pleasant, honest and endearing guy.
Salut Mike. On va s'ennuyer de toi mon ami.
Sincères condoléances Pauline et bon courage.

To Mike Family & Friends , My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. I had the privilege know I work in the same office as Mike did. He was a very pleasant person, very respectful of others, even thought his job was difficult at time, he did not have a bad work to say about anyone. He will surely be missed May God upheld his family at this difficult time.
Rest in Peace Mike.

To the family.
I knew Mike from Statistics Canada where he worked for many years. Every day I was saying, Heeeellllllllllooooooo Mike, and he would always reply or wave the same way. It is with sadness I write this today.

I was so saddened at the news of Michael's passing when I was told about it yesterday. He was always so helpful and kind in making sure he found parking for all of the Conservation Officers attending my Conservation Fairs I held at Statistics Canada. We had a lot of wonderful chats from time to time. He loved people and was so good at his job.
Michael is one of those shining lights that will never be forgotten and I, along with many others will sorely miss him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, son and all of his other family. Take care and God Bless.
