Michael D. McHugh, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on December 8, 2024 in St. Charles, Il

Mike was born on October 21, 1947 to Michael McHugh and Evelyn Lawrenz. Mike had two sisters, Sallie Mayer and Beverly Grant. He had two daughters, Heather (Marty Stockhausen) and Brandi (Matt Zimmerman). Very proud grandfather of Mary, Anthony and Anna. Mike and Celeste were married for 56 years. They raised their family in Lombard, Il. They have also lived in Lake Geneva, Wi., and Geneva, Il., now living in St. Charles, Il. Mike was a mailman in Hillside, Il. for 37 years. He also had his own tree business, Little Termite, for about 25 years. Mike served in the Army from 1970 to 1971 at Camp Page in Korea.

He will be remembered as a loving, caring and compassionate husband, father, grandfather and friend who would help anyone who needed it. We will have a funeral mass for him on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:30 at St. Patrick Church, 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, Il.
