Michael Meehan Obituary
Upon his graduation from Franklin Regional, Michael attended the University of Dayton before transferring and graduating from The University of Pittsburgh. Michael had a career with the IRS before embarking on a new chapter as the founder of his own private accounting firm. Through his work, Michael not only served countless clients but also forged lifelong friendships, offering guidance and support to many.
Michael's passions extended beyond his profession. He was an active member of BMW social clubs and dedicated countless hours to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, an annual event close to his heart. His generosity knew no bounds, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends, family, and neighbors in need. He was known for his great storytelling and always appearing to events in his cowboy boots or 3-piece suits, known as "the tax man". He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
Friends and family are welcomed to come and celebrate Michael's life on February 1, 2025, at 12PM, at the Export Italian American Club (5930 Kennedy Ave, Export, PA 15632)
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name can be made to one of the following organizations that were close to his heart; Pittsburgh Vintage Grande Prix (www.pvgp.org), Export Historical Society (5885 Filmore St. Export, PA 15632), & Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley (730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA 15068)

Our journey too often seems to encounter those, who in some way, would undermine our enthusiasm for our daily tasks.
But "praise the lord" we are lucky enough to meet a fellow human who visits, departs and leaves no scars - only joy. When they leave this life, we mourn and shed tears of gratitude for the privilege of our times together. Such friendships are priceless.

My dad would always tell us bedtime stories about "Hunca Munca". Whether it was about him climbing a pine tree to avoid going to school or burying an evil totem pole in the neighbors' well, these silly stories about when my dad and his brother were kids would always entertain us.
Thank you for everything, Uncle Michael. I miss you, Hunca Munca.

My deepest sympathy to Michael´s family. We went to High School together and he was a good friend. A very kind person and someone I had fun with and glad to have known. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
