On Monday, September 23, 2024, Michael John O'Donnell, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of thirty-three. Mike is survived by parents Jack O'Donnell and Kathy O'Donnell, siblings Sean O'Donnell and Kaitlin Maud, niece London Grace, and nana Helen O'Donnell.

A musician and music lover, Mike was a passionate advocate for the Boston music scene. He worked on the operations team of Boston Calling for 10 years, making lifelong memories with festival colleagues, friends and attendees. When music venues closed in 2020, Mike created the Boston Stream Party. He and a team of industry friends produced a series of online concerts to help out-of-work musicians stay connected to their fans across the country. An alumni of UMass Amherst, Mike also had a growing career in IT.

To all who knew him, Mike was larger than life. He always had big stories, big ideas, and big dreams. He will be missed by many. The family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Plugged In band program (40 Freeman Place, Needham, MA 02492). A celebration of his Mike's life will be held in 2025.

Mikey was always the third big brother to the Cuff sisters. We are so incredibly blessed to have such funny, and loving memories with Mikey. He was so loved and will be forever in our hearts.

Michael, It always made me happy to have you at our home on River Street. You and Kiefer had countless hours of fun and how lucky was I to witness it! Your guitar playing brought hours of joy, your talent was very evident. I will remember you always with love in my heart as you will always be one of my children, again, how lucky was I!
