Beddie,Nick,John & BeBe:
My deepest sympathy goes out to you in the loss of your husband & father. All of my childhood years involved your family with happy and good times. Michael was a good and kind man. He as well as each of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

To Mike’s immediately and extended family, I offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences. Mike was a great guy. He was my idol; he was my hero. I was 12 years his junior, but he treated me as an equal. We corresponded by mail during his time as a Marine during World War II. He was my confirmation sponsor (by proxy, because he didn’t get discharged and make it home in time for the ceremony). I took Michael as my confirmation name. I also named my first son Michael.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral; I am not now in the best of health.
Mike was a great guy; I will remember him always in my daily prayers.

I am so sorry, Bea. Mike was always my "special senior". never asked me to do things for him, just talked to me.
He will be missed.--an all-round "good guy".
