MICHAEL J., Sr.
Age 63, of Titusville, FL, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, while surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 6, 1954, to the late Frank, Sr. and Margaret (Guentner) Rapino. Mike served our nation with great honor with the US Air Force and then as a Police Officer and Chief with the Borough of Sharpsburg from 1974-2005. He was a member of Masonic Corinthian Lodge F & AM 573 and the Pennsylvania Chief of Police Association. In 2015, Michael followed his dream and moved to Florida. Michael was a loving husband, father, adoring Pap and friend to all he knew. Other than his parents, brother, Frank A. Rapino, Jr. preceded Michael in death. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Eileen (Modaffari); son, Michael (Julie Sadowski) Rapino, Jr.; grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Emily, and Eliza; sisters, Rita Rae Johnson and Rebecca Prasnikar, brother, Mark Rapino; Marlene Rapino; brother-in-law, Joseph (Elizabeth) Modaffari. Eileen,
Tony and I extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Tony has fond memories of Mike when he had the business in Sharpsburg. He always spoke highly of him. Mike is at peace now and his suffering is over. Try to find comfort in that.
