Michael Dean Rossi, 66, passed away on March 24, 2021 at his home. He was born in Norton, Virginia on November 20, 1954, the son of Nick and Nora (Roberts) Rossi. He married Pam Perrone at St. Anthony's Church in Rockford, IL, they shared 45 years of marriage together.
He retired from Warner Brake & Electric where he worked as a machinist. Michael is the owner of Sharky's Sports Bar in Mount Morris. Michael was a proud Italian and the head of the family on both sides. He was always there to help anyone in need and would stand up for what was right. He was a giving man and would give back to the community in any way he could. He donated to many charities some being St. Jude Children's Hospital, IL state police, and he was a proud supporter of Shriner's Hospital. He also held many benefits at Sharky's Sports Bar. He enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, shopping, cars and bargaining for the best deal. Michael also loved spending time with his family and friends, especially family gatherings.
Michael is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Steven Rossi of Rockford, Kimberly (James) Rice of Winnebago; grandchildren, Jacob Rice, Bailey Shott, Alexis Shott, Alex Rice, Trevor Rice, Lilyanna Rice; nieces, Gina (Jeff) Badger, Jennifer (Sam) Tillou, Renee (Glen) Cook, Anne and Anita Rossi, Angie (Adam) Fluaitt, Jimmy Rossi, Jason (Carrie) Rossi; nephews, Adam (Talina) Fusinato, Matt (Adreina) Fusinato, Dominick Fusinato; sister, Gina (Craig) Zimmerman; brothers, Gary (Cathy) Rossi, Tony Rossi, sister-in-law, Cathy Fusinato and many great nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Nora Rossi, Nana & Pa Perrone, brother, James Rossi Sr., and Diane Tillou.
