Michael Slovak Obituary
AGE: 90 • Monroe Township
Michael J. Slovak died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 90. Born in Jersey City to the late Michael and Veronica Uchrin Slovak, he resided in Old Bridge before moving to the Clearbrook Community 10 years ago. Prior to his retirement 30 years ago, he was a machinist at Hyatt Rollerbearing in Clark for 27 years.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Slovak. Surviving are a sister, Lillian Henry of Brick; a niece, Karen and her husband Matthew Rusnock of Monroe Twp.; a nephew, Robert and his wife Jeannine Schenk of Jupiter, FL; three great nieces, Katelynn, Catherine and Rachael, and a great nephew Matthew.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a10:15 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday 8:30 - 9:30 am.
