Michael was a very sweet and kind person. Always a pleasure to see when he came to our office. He touched each of our lives in a different but positive way. Michael will truly be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Michael was one of the kindest people I have ever known; there was a glow about him that his shyness accentuated. When his sister, Lisa, one of my closest friends here in L.A.,died, Michael sent a number of us who so thoroughly mourned her, individual and lengthy letters telling each of us in turn what we had meant to her. For this and so many more kindnesses, I will miss him for the rest of my life.

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Smith family on the loss of Michael. Although I did not know him personally, I am certain he was an outstanding quality individual. I lament not having had the honor of calling him friend.
