The last time I saw Michael was at my son, Johnny Byrd´s memorial 2 years ago. He and Johnny had been close for years, sharing a lot of common interests including Star Wars. I know they are already goofing off and sharing stories again with our Lord Jesus Christ. His mother, Barbara, and I were close friends from Junior High School. I remember one Thanksgiving, Michael helped with our Thanksgiving dinner and he, Barbara, and brother, Mark, all came and ate with my family. Barbara, I know your pain my friend and will keep you in my prayers.

I met my cousin Mike at the very young age of five. Mike's a few years older than me and boy did he like to remind me all the time of it lol. From the first moment he met me he took me under his wing.. protecting me from the neighborhood bullies over on Young Ave here in Columbus.. As we grew older we went from cousins to brothers. We found our love for Heavy Metal Music together and a few other fun activities I can't say here.. MIKE has been there for me my entire life and I him.. we got in many many adventures together From the runs we made down to Florida to all the concerts. He's my Best friend,my cousin, My Blood, my Brother and I'm going to miss you terribly. But I know your up There in Heaven With Byrd and Budda watching down over us Love ya Man

Mike, where do I begin. We have been friends since Daniel Jr. High. I have fond memories of swimming at the Shrine Club pool and hanging out during the summers. You were always such a good person with a kind heart and beautiful soul, no matter what challenges life threw your way. Lisa brought a new light into your life, and your sweet son is literally your twin. We will all make sure he remembers you. Rest now, till we see each other again.

My memories of Mike are his sense of humor and his kind spirit. He shared a mutual love of music (particularly Patera lol) with my husband and I and was always eager to talk music with us. He was a great guy with an awesome personality and he will be missed. R.I.P brother. Getcha Pull
