Michael STUHLSATZ Obituary
September 24, 1944 - April 10, 2015
Michael passed peacefully at the Agape Hospice at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his son Patrick Stuhlsatz; daughter Kathleen Stuhlsatz; two brothers, John (Myrna) and Don (Edith); two sisters, Suzanne Palmer and Sandra (Don) Peebles and their families. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. Michael was born at Brooks, Alberta and moved to Calgary at a young age. Michael had a strong spirit and very outgoing personality and enjoyed several years in the Real Estate Business. He had a true dedication to Bill W helping many throughout the years. Michael was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Michael's memory may be made directly to the Agape Hospice, 1302 - 8 Avenue NW, Calgary AB, T2N 1B8. We will dearly miss Brother Mike, who often sat in the pew next to us at Calgary Standard Wesleyan Church. He also took the church membership class with us. He was so warm, kind, generous and full of spirit. He had a gift for making people feel special and loved. We will miss his hearty handshake and hearing his ringing "amen." He kept his positive attitude and sense of humour till the end. His staunch faith never wavered and we know he is with his Saviour now. We were told Mike left us an hour after we visited him. Indeed, he was very peaceful when we saw him! He is gone but his legacy will live on in hundreds, if not thousands of lives! Thoughts and prayers of love and comfort go to Patrick, Kathleen and other family members!
