Michael Swank Obituary
Michael grew up in both Vandalia, Missouri and Florissant Missouri. He graduated from Hazelwood Central High School in Florissant, MO in 2005.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and was most happy spending time with his two boys, Gilbert and Atticus. Michael also enjoyed Boy Scouts and The Renaissance Faire in his youth.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Robert Leslie Swank and stepmother, Megan McBeth Swank.
He is survived by his mother, Lori Swank, his sons Gilbert "Gib," Atticus, "Atty" Swank, his brothers and sisters, Stephen "Steve" (Tracy Ritter), James "Jim" (Patty Spieker) W. Austin (Julia), Justin (Amber), Callista, and Megan (Zachary Jackson), many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held June 25th at 10 am at Rotary Park, Wentzville, MO at Scots Guild. Dress as you please.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to an organization of your choice, or the Boy Scouts of America.

I am so sorry that Mike is gone, I have a lot of fond memories of performing/playing alongside him at Faire. He had a unique sense of humor that I never failed to surprise me. My condolences to his family and that his sons will not get to finish growing to maturity with their father.

Words cannot convey the shock in hearing that Mike was taken from us. I have many wonderful memories of him at Faire and as a friend. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his sons and family and I hold you in my prayers during this trying time.
