Mr. Michael Duane Whitman, age 45, of Ft. White FL, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009, in the Suwanne Valley Care Center following an extended illness. He was a native of Binghamton, NY and lived in St. Petersburg, and Brooksville before moving to Ft. White, FL 4 years ago. He enjoyed Horses and Truck Driving, he is survived by his wife of 20 years Judy Whitman, daughter; Crystal (Shane) Bartosek, of Ft. White, mother; Gertrude (Gary) Watson, of Brooksville, FL, father;Stanley (Shirley) Whitman of Binghamton, NY, sisters; Patti (Matthew) Allen of Brooksville, FL, Sharlene Ianello of Gulfport, FL, brother; Stanley Robert Whitman, of Smithville Flats, NY, step sister; April (Lance) Studer, of Binghamton, NY, step brother; Patrick Whitman, of Binghamton, NY, father-in-law; Michael (Patricia) Manion, of Frankfort, IN, one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews and other family members also survive. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of ICS Cremation and
Funeral Home, 357 NW Wilks Lane, Lake City, FL 386-752-3436.
