Michael P. Willhoite

TRUMBULL TOWNSHIP — Michael P. Willhoite, age 57, of Trumbull Township, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his home.
He was born Dec. 28, 1952, in Painesville, the son of George and Frances (Colgrove) Willhoite and was a graduate of Painesville Harvey High School.
He was a dedicated employee at Aqua American in Mentor for 31 years.
Mike enjoyed deer hunting both bow and gun and managed to get two this season. He also enjoyed the fellowship he shared with his Christian friends. He also enjoyed fishing and in his younger years played roller hockey, baseball and won several awards in speed skating. Mike coached bitty and midget basketball, T-ball, little and senior league baseball.
Mike was a member of Peoples Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, attending since 1996. Mike was a good husband and a good father and cherished his "little Princess" Trinity, his granddaughter.
Surviving him are his wife of 33 years, Anna (Andrusis) Willhoite; three sons, Michael Jr. of Chardon, Shawn of Austinburg and Joshua of Rock Creek; a granddaughter, Trinity Ann Willhoite; and his father, George Willhoite of Painesville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; and his two brothers, Kenneth and Steve.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 9th, at Peoples Church, 300 South Ridge East, Geneva, with Dr. Jim D. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Austinburg Center Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 8th, at the Geneva Home of FLEMING and BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
