Michelle will remain with you forever and always for love itself lives on through her cherished memories that will never fade because she has become one of God's angels. Nothing can ever take away the love your heart holds for her and she for you because she is never more than a thought or smile away. As long as there is a memory, Michelle will live on in your hearts.
May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.

I know the joy that Michelle brought to Todd and the girls and cannot fathom the void left behind. I regret life pulling me away from Todd and Michelle's friendship and wish I were more diligent in staying close.

My deepest condolences to Todd, Savannah, Abby and to all who were privileged enough to be blessed with her love, acquaintance, and friendship. Her strength is inspirational.

Sweet Michelle, You will be missed by so many. I'm sorry you and your family had to endure such a struggle. I will always remember that girlish smile and tenacity to not settle for less. The storm kept me away from your service, but you will remain in my heart. Love and peace..

I had never met Michelle, but we had talked on the phone. We knew of the same Doctor. Our condolences to Todd, the girls, and the doggies.

May God wrap all the family in his loving arms at this sad time, and forever. I knew of Michelle from her Uncle Rocky.

Comfort yourselves with the fact, she is no longer suffering.

Michelle helped me with the Army kids during my husbands deployment in 2005. I will miss her smile. When I last saw her at the Legions fundraiser I she told me that she loved me and I told her that I loved her too. My heart and prayers go for the girls and her husband. I spent so many hours with Michelle, opening the Old Navy in 1998. Late nights, long weekends. She always had a smile on her face. Always ready to laugh. We spent many cold days in the hiring trailer getting ready to open the west side Old Navy a few years later. Again, always with a smile on her face. She had such an influence on the person I am, the manager I am and the mother I am to my two daughers. Thank you for sharing her with me on those long work days. She will always live in my heart. She will always be one of my security questions: the name of your favorite manager....Michelle!

So sad to see this obituary in today's Herald-Times. I met Michelle in 2011 when I was still working for the H-T. She was very candid about the cancer she already had been battling for 7 years. She felt so blessed to be surrounded by such a strong family and wonderful support group such as 10-year-old Abby Allen, who was running mini-marathons to help raise money for medical costs. What a unique friendship that was, and I'm sure it continued right up to the very end. My sincere condolences to the Combs family and their extended family.
