Michelle Owens Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 21 to Nov. 22, 2022.
Michelle L. Owens, 57, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022. She was born in West Warwick, R.I. in late May of 1965.

She is survived by:

Her father John J. Owens & Robin E. Owens (Step-mother), her mother Linda A. Tuchon & Lloyd M. Tuchon (Step-father), her cherished daughter Danielle M. Ray and her spouse Bryan P. Ray, her siblings John D. Owens, Christine A. Mayo (Joel), Wendy L. Gaskin (David), Angelle T. Colborn (John), Michael F. Owens (Ericka), as well as her step siblings Linda J. Dieguez, Lori J. Colvin & Lloyd M. Tuchon III and her beloved fur baby Pippa Owens.

Those who knew Michelle will tell you she had a beautiful soul. Whether it was family gatherings, Bingo nights or coffee dates with friends, she always enjoyed hanging out with the ones she loved. She had a kind heart and a knack for getting people to smile. She was a hard worker and the most loyal of friends.

What will be remembered most about Michelle was her zest for life. She spent her leisure time working out at the gym and hanging out by the pool. Occasionally, you might have found her on the dance floor cutting loose or in the car singing along to one of her favorite songs. She especially enjoyed any chance she got to take a long weekend out at the beach with friends, relaxing in the warm Florida sun with the sand between her toes, sipping a cocktail, listening to the sound of the gentle waves flowing onto the shore.

The only thing Michelle loved more then the ocean was her daughter, Danielle was her world and they shared an inseparable bond.

She was blessed to have such a large family filled with many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved dearly and who will miss her presence immensely.

One of my fond memories is when I was a kid and for a present you wrapped Disney tickets in a blinds box. You always included me and I felt very special to stay the night at your house as a kid. You always made me smile and gave the best advice. I will miss being able to ask you to do things and just talk with you. I love you and my heart hurts so very much. I never knew I could feel my heart break.

Michelle had a bubbly, effervescent personality and was a joy to talk with. Weknow that she will be missed by many. May her memory be eternal.

I always loved chatting with Michelle whenever I would see her at a family gathering at the Colborns. She was beautiful inside and out. Enjoy Paradise Michelle with Jesus. You earned it. You will be missed here though.

We were born family, but you were more than that to me. We grew up as close as sisters and that is what you were to me. You were my very first friend in life and remained my loyal friend and confidant, my sister by heart, my cousin "#1Cuz". My heart is broken. I love you always!
