Michiko Van Vleet Obituary
She was the loving mother of four children: Lester (Kirsten), Marisa, Monica, and Marcus (Bridget). Michiko was also a proud grandmother to Lisa, Larry Jr., William, Christopher, Kelsey, Thomas, Matthew, Ethan, Ashlynn, and Aubree, and a great-grandmother to seven. Michiko is survived by her siblings, Kazu, Sumiko, and Nobu of Japan and was preceded in death by her parents, Shigaro and Yoshiko, siblings, Suoichi and Shiguru her sons, Larry and James.
In San Diego, Michiko dedicated over 40 years to the hospitality industry, making a significant impact and earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
The family will hold a private remembrance to honor Michiko's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valleys in her memory.
Michiko will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the indelible mark she left on the lives she touched.
