Mildred Ruth Bullard passed away on March 23, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and at the age of two, moved to Chicago, where she spent the rest of her life.

Mildred was the daughter of the late Hammel Bullard Sr. and Ruth Bullard. She is survived by her daughter, Cobina Gibson; her partner, Richard Rodriguez; her sisters, Mari Margaret Tolbert and Beverly Bullard; and her brother, Hammel Bullard Jr.

She found joy in watching movies, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family. Her warmth and love for shared moments brought happiness to those around her.

A service to honor Mildred's life will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, located at 2127 West 22nd Place, Chicago, Illinois 60608.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
