Mitchell Firestone Obituary

Firestone Mitchell Madison Firestone, 73, of Manassas died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 following a long illness. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local Chapter 1590. He was preceded in death by wife, Rosa Ann Firestone, and two brothers, Daniel Firestone and Ralph Firestone. Survivors include two daughters, Lana Harrison and her husband, Paul, of Manassas and Lisa Henneberry and her husband, Scott, of McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren, Laura Curtin, Robert Curtin, Madeleine Henneberry, Elaina Harrison, Jordan Henneberry, Carena Harrison; two sisters, Mary DeVault and Linda Pierce; two brothers, Clarence Firestone and David Firestone; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Father Flanagan's Boys Home, 200 Flanagan Blvd., P.O. Box 6000, Boys Town, NE 68010-9988 Online condolences may be made to Mitchell's family at www.foundandsons.com. Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
