Mitchell Dennis Youngblood

LINDEN — Mitchell Dennis Youngblood was born Januray 1, 1959, in Marshall, Texas, to Charlotte and Wray Youngblood. He passed away Saturday morning, June 1, 2013, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mr. Youngblood worked for numerous companies under AEP/Swepco/Pirkey Power Plant located outside of Hallsville, Texas, as a millwright, supervisor and foreman. Presently Mr. Youngblood was working for H.B. Zachary, sharing the foreman title. He was an avid outdoorsman. His favorite places to be were the river and the lake with his numerous family and friends. He enjoyed working, boating, cooking out, fishing and buliding numerous trappings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kimberly Youngblood; mother, Charlotte Youngblood; his daughters, Ashley Carter and husband, Greg, Amber Youngblood, Angela Youngblood and Keele Youngblood; his stepdaughter, Victoria Warren; his siblings, Karen Nix and husband, Mike, Bob Youngblood, Rene Brune, Robbie Youngblood, David Youngblood and Melissa Hall and husband, Evan; his grandchildren, Jordan and Cason Carter, Kaydence and Aiden Youngblood and Addison Nazaroff; and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wray Youngblood.
There will be a celebration of life 2 p.m. Saturday June 8, 2013, at Crip's Camp on Caddo Lake, located at 325 Goose Prairie Dr., Uncertain, Tx 75661.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Feist Weiller Cancer Center at LSU Health for Head and Neck Cancer, 1501 Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71103.
