Miwako Kasuya March 19, 1933 - August 28, 2015 With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Miwako Kasuya on August 28,2015, after a lengthy battle with dementia. A loving and dedicated mother, bachan, sister and wife. Pre-deceased by her husband Kenzo in 1965 and her daughter June in 2007. She will be missed by her children Robert, Roy (Janine), Ken, her grandchildren Katie, Danny and Ivan, along with her sisters and brother-in-law, niec nephews and many friends. She will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family, her many hours of volunteering at the Vancouver Buddhist Church, her smile and laughter. A Memorial Service will be held on Sat Sep 5, 2015, at 3:30pm at the Vancouver Buddhist Church at 220 Jackson Ave., Vancouver. No Koden please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vancouver Buddhist Church or a charity of your choice.

I'm sorry for your loss Ken. June was my good friend for over 20 years at Visa. Thank you for giving me a ride back from the Buddhist temple in 2007. June is together with her mom and dad now . Take care Ken.
