SEVEN MILE FORD, Va. – Mona Sue Carrico, age 44, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Sue was a lifelong resident of Smyth County and was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Ruth Carrico, and her father, Harry Carrico.
She was a member of the Chilhowie Church of God.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister, Eddie Carrico and wife Donna, Seven Mile Ford, Greg Carrico and wife Rachel, Marion, and Lora Roberts and husband Jeff, Rich Valley; grandmother, Leona Carrico, Marion; grandfather, Jake Carrico, Seven Mile Ford; niece and nephews, Erica Carrico, Calvin Carrico, Wesley Carrico and Jesse Carrico; and several loving family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Chilhowie, with the Rev. James Whitten officiating. Interment will follow in the Middlefork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Chilhowie.
