Monchito "Chito" had the pleasure of meeting you while we worked at Canadian Direct Insurance in Vancouver. Such a dynamic personality. Smart, witty, and remarkable. He would volunteer to work my auto trade shows, and when I showed up to see if he was doing ok, he would say "are you leaving soon, you are cramping my style" lol. So much fun playing slow pitch against HSBC. Honored that you made it out for my wedding. A life lived, gone to soon. RIP Chito. T.

Monchito and I worked together at CWB, and our boys played against each other in hockey. We had lost touch after he changed his career path until I was at a hockey tournament up north. I could hear what I thought was his distinct voice, and saw Beaumont was on the ice. He always had time to chat and it was great reconnect. He was sure proud of his kids and a good friend!

Monchito was a very positive presence in the office, and I always enjoyed speaking with him. He left us far too early, and he will very much be missed.
Rest in peace my friend.

I worked with Monchito when he first came to IG helping to get him accustomed to the business. We became fast friends as well as colleagues. We connected on day one and he held a special place in my heart.

My deepest condolences to his family. It was a long and hard-fought battle. I will always remember him as a warm and funny person who made my day every time I spoke with him. He will be missed by many.

You are all in my prayers.

Monchito was always there to lend a helping hand and offer support whenever I needed it. He helped me out on numerous occasions and was always smiling. I was lucky enough to sit in the bullpen with him in Edmonton Gateway RO#166 and we shared numerous stories and had a lot of laughs arounds the water cooler. Monchito reached out to me when I was going through my own Cancer battle and I did the same when he was diagnosed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this most difficult time, RIP in peace my friend!

Monchito first joined our region with IG Wealth with a smile and an air about him that made you feel you had his full attention and were always welcome for a discussion. He made work a better place and always ready to chat or to joke around. He will be dearly missed, and my heartfelt condolences to all his family.

I have known Monchito for years through our careers at IG. I was overjoyed when he chose to become an advisor, as he was passionate about financial planning, and I got to work more closely with him. He always had a positive outlook, calm demeanour, and smile on his face. I will miss him so much. I´m praying for his family and loved ones.

Chito was one of my most favorite people. I would tell him that often. We only met a couple of years ago, yet I feel like we´ve know each other for 20 years. He was always so kind, generous, supportive and caring - oh and sarcastic lol. I´m so blessed that I had him as a close friend for as long as I did. Chito, I´ll do my best to follow through with everything you taught me with pool, and I promise I´ll do my best to make you proud. Love you.

Monchito was very good to me when I first started my career at IG 5 years ago. Was always willing to help, have a conversation, pass on a referral for mortgage, or just discuss the stresses of starting out a business that I was so unfamiliar with. We sat beside each other in the bull pen when I started out and had many laughs together. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
