Morgan Horner, age 39, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022.
Morgan was born in Ridgewood, NJ. He has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 4 years. Prior to living here, he was stationed all over the United States while serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army working as a 13F/Fire Support Specialist and had served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Morgan liked to play video games and enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked to cook.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Edenfield Horner of Richmond Hill; his daughter, Claire Horner; two step-sons, Brantley Abel and Quinn Abel; his father, Andrew Horner; and a sister, Erin Isaacs.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Morgan was one hell of a high school wrestler, in fact, best in state while attending Hasbrouck Heights HS in NJ. We were classmates through HS, and he was always a class act in these classes, kept the teachers on their toes. It’s been a while since those HS days. May you be at peace.
