Dear Sherril, Matt, Darren and Kristy,
With sadness we received the news of Morley's passing and continue to ask the Lord to grant each of you a special portion of His peace and presence.
Morley's life and commitment to the Lord was of great encouragement to many, including the Hazzard family. He generously offered his warm smile and friendly greeting, and always shared an infectious laugh.
Morley's leadership and involvement in so many areas of ministry in Evangel touched many hearts and was deeply appreciated.
With gratitude from our hearts,
David and Stacey.

He is home!!! Praise the Lord, he is home. We have been praying for you all and will continue to do so. Just as you 'guided' us home last summer from a wedding, he has arrived, safely. Oh how he is and will continue to be missed - but loved. How precious our memories.

My First Easter in Heaven
by maralee dawn in honor of a great man of God...Morley Bohn
Hello my precious loved ones, need to tell you how I feel
The Passion of the Christ, its powerful... its real
I was ushered into heaven, a little early as you know
It was time for my promotion and I didn't want to go
I just longed to stay there with you and have you hold my hand
Having not the foggiest notion of all that God had planned
But now that I'm in heaven, everything's so crystal clear
What a joy to be spending Easter with Jesus Christ this year
Well, can you just imagine, close your eyes and try
Me singing with the angel choir, with Jesus by my side
The 'Hallelujah chorus" well it aint nothing to compare
With the 'hallelujah's we are shouting with family up here
I know you are really missing me, and I miss you too
But you go on to church now, the way we used to do
You sing with the choir, He is risen indeed
Listen to the preacher, and help those in need
Remember these are "practise times" in the churches below
One day you'll join me here, with Jesus... and you'll know
The Passion of the Christ, is like nothing you've dreamed yet
and what it really means to Love, and to forgive and forget
And so my precious loved ones, remember what I've spoken
The day will come, you'll join me here, our family circle unbroken
Until then, love and hug each other and wipe away that tear
Be happy for me, please, I'm celebrating with Jesus this year!
Morley was friend to me in youth group,he stood up (actually fell down, smile) at our wedding and we love him.Looking forward to the great re-union day.
Love and prayers to all the family.

Dearest Aunty Sherril and kids, I just found out about Uncle Morley two nights ago and haven't stopped crying. He was so good to me and took a genuine interest in things that were going on in my life. He was a very godly man and I feel priveleged that I was part of the family, if only for a short time. My prayers are with all of you. Miss and love you all. Becky

Dear Sherril and family: We only heard of this tragic news last night. We shed tears and talked about what a godly man Morley was. We remember fondly the canoe trip we took with Matt and Morley. The love Morley felt for his son was so evident. May God bless you and comfort you as you eat the bread of sorrows.

It is with deepest sympathy we entend our condolences to you and your family. It is many years ago now that we fondly remember Morley as part of the quartet. His great bass voice has now been added to the heavenly choir. It was a shock to hear of this tragedy. May you feel God's peace, comfort and love during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sherril & family - there are simply no words to convey our deep sorrow at your enormous loss. We have such wonderful memories of times, all to brief, together - both in Edmonton and when you stopped by while on vacation. Of course, you know that you are not ever alone - that the Good Shepherd will guide and guard you all through this deep and dark valley of Death's shadow. He will protect you and set a table before you in the presence of this enemy - making this place, His place. Please be assured of our prayers for you all, and especially for your kids. There are no explanations - but simply the knowledge, gleaned by faithful experience, that God is able to take the raw material of this chaos and madness and make something out of it.

GREETINGS TO YOU ALL!!
To say we are in shock would be an understatement and undoubtedly for you the disbelief is even greater. We have heavy hearts. Somehow this just doesn't seem right. We have and will continue to pray for all of you. We are praying that God's incredible peace and presence will fill the void you now feel. We are also praying that God's Holy Spirit will use Morley's consistent Godly walk to challenge and motivate family and friends to become more fully devoted followers of Jesus. Before the end of March we will plan to visit with you via the telephone.
WE LOVE YOU!!

we were shocked & saddened to hear of Morley's passing but feel blessing to have had the opportunity to have served with him on the church board, different business ventures, as well as holidaying together. We are still in denial about his passing and are asking the Lord to fill the gap and feelings of despair that we are experiencing as we are asking Him to do for you as well. Hello Sherill, Matt, Darren, Kristi;
Morley taught Grade 5 & 6 boys Sunday school when I was Sunday school superintendent. He offered to let the boys cut off a piece of his tie if they remembered the bible verse for the week!
Eli was in his class. The boys loved him as a teacher.
Morley was wonderful and we will miss him.
As gruelling and difficult as it may seem, God is there. We are praying for you.

Dear Sherril, Matthew, Darren and Kristy,
Our prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear Morley passed away. We thank God for bringing your family into our neighborhood and into our lives fifteen years ago. Your friendship has always been treasured. It isn't often one forms such close bonds with neighbors but in this case, it was easy. Morley was much more than a neighbour, he was our friend. He was a gentle loving person, respected by all and willing to always help others. He always saw the beauty in everyone and took the time to listen. His smile and kind ways will never be forgotten. Some of our fondest memories include stopping by your home when the two of you were in the front yard trimming trees, cutting grass and putting up Christmas lights. Our friendship and memories will last a lifetime. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. We love you.

Dear Sherril and Family,
We have been in many times of intercession for you since hearing the news of Morley's tragic homegoing. In some small way we can identify with your grief having lost John's brother in a similar accident a year ago. We pray that God will uphold you with His mighty hand as you learn to adjust to life without your husband, father, son, and brother.

Both of us were deeply saddened and in a state of shock as well when we heard the news. Our hearts go out to you Sherril and the family. It seems just like yesterday we bumped into you in Las Vegas at that breakfast place in the hotel. What a surprise that was! The other memory of Morley that puts a smile on our face is the quartet he sang in. He had a deep solo part where part of the words were "learn how to fly." I think everyone in the church loved that. Well Morley has experienced that song he sang about - his first day in heaven and at least we have the comfort of knowing he's in a great place. On the other side we will miss him and once again our thoughts and prayers are with you.
