Peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in his 100th year. Devoted husband of the late Annie Karrel. Beloved father and father-in- law of Ronald, David and Jewel, and father-in- law of Marjorie and Brenda. Cherished grandfather of Nicky Goldman, Willie Goldman, Rayna Goldman and Tyler Maher; Moriah Goldman and Aaron Wine, Shandoah Goldman and Matthew Walton, Rachael Goldman and Marc Beauchamp, Jessica Goldman and Rob Ehrlick; Justin Efraim, Mia Efraim and Patrick Dyer, Leigh Efraim and Sean Tomney. Proud great-grandfather of Sofia Goldman Maher; Ezra and Ira Goldman; Senna Beauchamp. Brother and brother-in- law of the late Theodor and the late Eileen Goldman, the late Dena and the late Al Kravitz. Special thanks to the staff of the King David Residence and to the staff of 6C at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and kindness. Graveside service on Thursday, October 13 at 10:15 a.m., at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt, Outremont, H2V 4T6. Shiva at his son David's home through Friday afternoon. Contributions in Morty's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Paperman & Sons.
