Dr. ELHilali was probably one of the best doctors I have ever had . He was so kind , compassionate , caring and above all - so very professional and extremely thorough .
I shall miss my annual visits to Dr. Moe as I affectionately called him.
The world has lost a wonderful and truly great human being .... rest in peace Dr. Moe ... indeed you have earned it .

Dr Elhilai treated my handicapped son, Neil, in the 1970's during his time at Sherbrooke. He was a man of great compassion and skill. He changed Neil's life, permanently, for the better, and we as a family will always be grateful.
I believe that he was a great humanist, a generous person, and an example of the best in his profession.

Dearest Family and Cynthia of Dr Elhilali,

My Late dad Lewis Lutter was a patient of Dr Elhilali over a twenty year period . He was a Prince of a man. An academic, a researcher ,a clinician / surgeion of extraordinary ability who cared deeply about his patients. He was everything Medicine was meant to be .Each time we left his office we thought to ourselves what a privelge it was to be his patient. It is a monumental loss to the medical community , to his patients and most of all to his family whom I am sure he meant the world . To Cynthia . A dear, old friend of Howard and I , our deepest sympathies to you. May you find a measure of strength and comfort in the memories you shared and the beautiful legacy he left behind.
