Funeral services for Mr. Willie Ray Lilly, 71 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana. Burial will follow the service at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Many, LA.
Viewing will be held Friday, April 7, 2023, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Many, LA.
Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Willie Ray Lilly passed away March 29,2023 in Killeen, Texas.
Willie Ray Lilly (BaeBae) was born on April ,12 1951 to Fred and Rosie Lee Lilly. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Rosie Lee Lilly his sister Mary Gosey, two brothers Edward C Lilly and Philma Lilly, nephew Charles, and grandson Lamar Lilly Jr. Willie graduated from Sabine High School in 1969, joined the military in 1971-1973 while serving his 3 years he worked as an Aircraft mechanic.
Willie loved so many and was loved by so many more. His spirit will always be with us through memories. Willie was a person that didn’t look or expect much, he was quiet, very intelligent, stayed to himself. He was known by everyone as BaeBae and known as Bae to his kids.
Willie was married to Linda the love of his life and later divorced.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Willie Warren, Lasonja Becoats (Cyril), Lamar Lilly, Edward Lilly (Kimette), Yushika Lilly-Lee (Terrance), Tanyiska Arbuthnot (Dewayne) which all resides in Killeen, TX. Two Sisters LaTricea Rutherford of Webster TX, Virginia Williams of Many La, Two brothers Robert Lilly of Dickerson Tx, and Dontray Smart of Many, La ,1 sister-in-law Pat Lilly of Friendswood Tx, 24 grandkids, and 34 great grandkids. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to cherish his memories.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret -it only cause harm. Psalm 37:7-8
