FLEWELLING, Murray William June 16, 1945 - May 17, 2011 Murray was born on June 16, 1945 in Lacombe, AB, and passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee Macartney); sons Cody and Tyler of Calgary; mother Barbara Flewelling of Lacombe; brothers Bruce (Iloe) of Strathmore, and Wayne (Hazel) of Sherwood Park, Glen (Wendy) of Lacombe; sister Gayle Percival of Edmonton; Anne Grey of Gilby, and Jenny Cretney of Whitehorse. Also surviving him is brother-in-law Tim (Michelle) Macartney of Fort McMurray; Aunt Jean Ferguson and Uncle Dean (Etta) Chessor of Lacombe; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends. He was predeceased by his father Clyde in February 1999. Murray was employed by the Calgary Stockyards for fifty years. A Service to commemorate Murray's Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. A private family Inurnment will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Lacombe at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Provincial Office, Sun Life Place, 710, 10123 - 99 Street, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1 (Telephone 1-866-412-4222), or to the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta - Calgary Chapter ( www.schizophrenia.ca . No. 309 - 8989 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, AB T2H 0M2. Telephone 403-264-5161). Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . In living memory of Murray Flewelling, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Margie, Cody and Tyler our hearts are deeply saddened by your loss. Murray will be missed by all that had the pleasure to call him a friend.
