Dear Bette Anne and family,
I'll always remember the first time I met Al and he told me that he was married to you - he beamed. I also remember what a generous soul he was to those he met with his warmth, his respect, his integrity - he made my job easy. In Robert's words he was a "Good Guy" and I feel especially grateful for having met him and knowing that you are loved by such a wonderful person.
Love and hugs,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Al's passing. I truly feel honored to have known him and admired him greatly as a friend. I have fond memories of him when I was a child and all our family ski trips. I loved his sense of humour, his firm handshakes and his unabashed love for his family. My thoughts and love go out to the Maydonik family.

Dear Bette Anne:
My heart is full of sorrow for your loss…and ours. Al was such a fine human being – gentle, loving and kind – truly a gentleman. While he was energized and inspired by his career, there was never any doubt: you were the love of his life – his soul mate and best friend forever. Yet he never smiled more brightly than when he shared stories of the adventures and achievements of Camille and Bobby.
It was an honour and a privilege to work with Al and to be able to call him my friend. He was simply…the best. My condolences to your family.
