JOHNSON _ Nadia Nancy Martha (nee Chachkowsky). After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Nancy passed away peacefully on December 2, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Donald; her brother Eugene Chackowsky and her parents, Annie and Nick Chachkowsky. She will be missed terribly by her children Anne, Donna (Robert) Wiebe, Bob (Toni), Eric, Karen and grandchildren Amanda, Abram and Hamish. Born in Winnipeg in 1932, Nancy moved to Vancouver in 1956. She married Don in 1957 and soon started a family. She will be remembered as a dedicated Mom who always had time for her children and who made the best bread. Nancy loved gardening, animals, reading and a good joke. She was much loved. A Memorial is to held on Thursday, December 9th at 1:00PM at the Killarney Park Mennonite Brethren Church, 6426 Kerr St Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the SPCA.
