Nadine Iole Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 30, 2024.
It is with great sadness that the family of Nadine Ann Iole of Chicago Illinois, announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the age of 68.

Nadine grew up in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago, attending St. Ita's Grammar school (1969) and later graduating from Senn High School in 1973. She is the daughter of Phyllis and the late Frank Iole Sr.

Nadine will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her two children, Michael Tangy and Eli Hamami (They were her everything); siblings, Michele (Dino )Tiritilli, Ron (Cindy) Iole and David Iole; She was the proud aunt to Nicole Iole, Analisa Iole, Frank Iole and the loving great aunt "Nunu" to Willow and Saige.

Nadine was preceded in death by three of her siblings, Frank Jr., Michael and Lori Iole.

Nadine started working at the age of 14. Her first job was at The Broadway and Bryn Mawr Movie Theater. Nadine's love for talking and meeting new people, along with her passion for fashion, lead her to over 45 years in the high-end luxury retail which included Saks Fifth Ave and Neiman Marcus. Not one to sit still, Nadine started working for Allstate Insurance and RPN Sales & Auction after her official "retirement". When Nadine wasn't working you could bet she was listening to music with friends, hanging with her beloved family and planning her next concert! With a heart that could not handle her larger-than-life personality, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. "Opaaa!"

I would like to share photos (some were sent to me) of my dear sister-in-law. Nadine was extremely generous and always made us feel special. Most of all, we had so much fun together and her spirit will live on. The first pic is of our last get-together in March. Of course, she insisted on paying!
