DeWITT, Nancy Frances, 50, of Dade City, Fla., passed away October 29, 2009, in Dade City. She was born October 20, 1959, in Dade City to William and Opal (Alexander) Schneider and was a lifelong resident. Nancy was a member of the Blanton Baptist Church, and enjoyed sending "care packages" to our troops. She is survived by a daughter, Julie DeWitt of Dade City; son, Scott DeWitt of Texas; her mother, Opal Schneider of Dade City; three brothers, Robert Schneider, David Schneider and John Schneider, all of Dade City; two sisters, Lora Atkins of Zephyrhills and Linda McCall of Orlando, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, William Schneider, and a son, Eric DeWitt. Memorial services will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Blanton Baptist Church in Dade City. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

My name is Jim Mayor I worked with Nancy for a number of years at MDS. I am very sad to here of her passing. She was a kind and wonderful person.I would make dvds of sporting events and give them to Nancy to send overseas, I would like to continue this effort in her memory, if anyone knows the address in Irac of the troops she would send her care packages to please let me know I can be reached at [email protected] .
