On May 26, 2018 Nancy Norman Latier a lifelong resident of Coshocton passed away following a long illness.

She was born February 2, 1933 to William H. and Sarah Walker Norman. She was a 1950 graduate of Coshocton high School, a 1952 graduate of Stephen's Women's College in Missouri and received her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in 1955.
She taught in elementary schools in Cincinnati Ohio, Brecksville Ohio and for several years at Chestnut Elementary School in Coshocton. She loved teaching and working with children.
She married Dr. R. E. Latier D.V.M on July 3, 1969. Together they loved horses and especially enjoyed harness horse racing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband R. E. Latier, brother William J. Norman, sister-in-law Jo Ann Norman and brother James W. Norman.
Surviving are her son, the light of her life, Robert J. Latier, and his family, daughter –in-law Lisa Latier, twin grandchildren Luke and Lexi Latier of Westerville Ohio, sister Judith (Norman) Ellenberger, brother-in-law Richard Ellenberger of Toledo Ohio, sister-in-law Cathy (Hess) Norman of Sarasota Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church, The Retired Teachers Association, Kappa Delta Pi Teachers Honorary and The Coshocton Historical Society.
Visitation will be in the chapel at Grace United Methodist Church on Monday June 4, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services beginning at 1:00 p.m. and burial immediately following the service at South Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may wish to consider a donation to Mount Carmel Hospice of Columbus Ohio, The American Cancer Society, Grace United Methodist Church or a charity of their choice.
