NANCY MCGRATH THOMPSON

McGRATH THOMPSON, Nancy Age 61 of Norwood, died at home, surrounded by family, after a long illness. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Mark Thompson of Norwood; daughter Jessica Thompson; son Ian Thompson of Boston; brother David and wife Cindy McGrath of Norwood; sister Amy McGrath DiVincenzo of Westwood; six nephews and eight nieces. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Edmund (Ozzie) and Barbara (Balfour) McGrath of Norwood. In addition to her immediate family, Nancy is survived by two beloved aunts and many neighbors, friends, and cousins, including Laurie Zimmerman, who gave her the gift of 12 more years of life. Nancy's positive outlook despite her health struggles, and love for family and friends, were an inspiration to all. Visiting Hours: All friends and families are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, October 27 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the First Congregational Church in Norwood, 100 Winter Street, Norwood. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Nancy's name to the New England Donor Services is appreciated.
