Nathan was our student worker and was such a pleasure to have in our office. He was charming, witty, and a true gentleman. This world is a sadder place without his smile and charm. We will all miss you Nate.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Nathan's passing and hope he will have peace. He and I attended some classes together at UNO. What a sweet person with those smiling eyes. He had a big heart and was always ready to give me a hug.. His star will shine forever!

This is my Native American & Health Class on April 28, 2005 (Nathan is on far left). The students did service learning projects Native elders

I just learned of Nathan's passing to the Spirit World. He was one of my all-time favorite students at UNO. In addition to his Bachelor's degree in Religion, he earned a minor in Native American Studies and I had the honor of placing a Pendleton blanket around his shoulders to mark his achievement. It was a beautiful night and he was so proud his parents were there! I will miss this dear, sweet boy and his lovely smile. My prayers and condolences to Nate's family and loved ones, I know he will be deeply grieved and sorely missed.

Nate was such an amazing person, and he will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of working with him and calling him a friend, and he made a sressful place a little more enjoyable for me. He always had a smile on his face, was making jokes and would even come in the door beat boxing when he knew I was having a rough day. He was one of the best supervisors I've ever had, I always felt heard and respected by him and he would go out of his way to help you in any way he could. He was kind, encouraging and had an infectious personality. I wish I would've told him how he was a light in a dark place for me. He truly impacted my life in a positive way. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his family, he will be truly missed.
