Nathan P. Fink, 58, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, October 3, 2015. Born in Beatrice, NE, he was the son of Walter and Eunice Fink. A professional engineer and Valparaiso graduate (BS Civil Engineering class of 1979), Nate was the President of Hagerman Construction Corporation where he worked for over 36 years. The award is considered a personal tribute given to those who have rendered a distinguished service to the state. Nate was also an avid golfer at Fort Wayne Country Club and enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, skiing and traveling with family. He was great father, loving husband, and very beloved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Jane; sons Daniel (Jade), John (Amy), and Jared; daughter Lauren; Grandchildren Ari, John, and Ivy Fink; parents, Walter and Eunice Fink; brothers Roland (Debbie), Edward (Friederike), Louis (Kelly), and Eldon (Kathy); and many nieces and nephews. Very sorry to hear of Nate's passing ... I only knew him for a short time while he pledging at our fraternity back at VU, but I took a liking to him as soon as I met him ... That's the kind of guy he was, very Lima me and giving ... We lost a great man ... My condolences to all his family
