Neal O Maynard

Neal Maynard, age 70, passed away in Las Vegas on January 4, 2024, due to long term, ongoing health issues. Neal was born in Appleton, WI on April 21, 1953. Neal contracted Polio during the epidemic in Outagamie County and later had Perthe disease in the other hip. These two diseases were major factors contributing to his health issues for the rest of his life. He graduated from Appleton West High School in 1971. He remained in Appleton until 1985 when he moved to Wild Rose where he owned a pizza and ice cream take out shop. Sometime later, he began long haul truck driving where he got to see much of the country through his travels. He later retired from driving due to health issues. He purchased a home in Las Vegas where he would tell you that he felt much better there in the warm climate. He loved living in Las Vegas. Neal lived a quiet life in his Las Vegas home.
