Neal David Oliphant, 69, passed away on January 23, 2022, at his home in Fort Myers, Florida after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Carlin P. and Loretta Oliphant of Louisville, KY. He is survied by his wife, Sharon Young Oliphant, formerly of Paducah, KY, 3 brothers; Robert Oliphant of Indianapolis, IN; Dr. Richard Oliphant (Julie) and Dr. John Oliphant all of Louisville, KY and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Neal was a graduate of Notre Dame University and the University of Kentucky School of Law. He practiced law in Paducah, KY for many years, as well as a partner with his wife, Sharon in Pampered Pets of Paducah. He was a long-standing member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, the Paducah Lion's Club and participated in the Paducah Market House theater productions. He was an avid UK and Notre Dame sports fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Sharon before retiring to Fort Myers, FL

Neal was such a kind and loving man to all who had the privilege of calling him friend. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for all his family and friends who will miss him so terribly!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Neal. My brother, Judge Rick Johnson, always considered Neal as one of his best friends. Neal and Rick attended over a dozen Final-Four Tournaments together along with many more fun trips to St. Louis Cardinal baseball and college basketball games. Neal was a good friend and always a fun guy to be around. He will be missed by so many friends. My heart is with Sharon and the family at this time.
