Nedra Soltow Obituary
Nedra attended Athens High School, Ohio University and Wright State University Medical School.
Dr. Soltow had a distinguished 31 year career as a physician with the Veterans Administration and was instrumental in starting a specialty clinic at the VA for care of veterans with HIV infection. She loved instructing new medical students and residents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 7929 N Michigan Road Indianapolis IN 46268. Visitation will be held Friday at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, from 5-7pm. A celebration of Nedra's life will be held there on Saturday at 2pm, with visitation one hour prior. A burial ceremony will be held in Athens, OH at a later date. I lived next door to Nedra when I was just a kid. I remember her with fond memories of our childhood. We played a lot of board games and a lot of tether ball. Janie, Nedra and I were great friends. So sorry to hear of her passing. Marcia Holland Monroe

My heart is heavy. Nedra was always loving and kind. I wanted to reach out to her after a long lapse in contact. I googled her name to find her address and was stunned to have her obit pop up. Please please tell the people that you love and care about them while you can. ! In a blink it can all be over. Bless you , Nedra. You were too sensitive for this world. ❤

I am very saddened to learn about Nedra's passing. She was my resident and I her intern during a busy month of Wishard wards. We worked many long hours together. She was an amazing, compassionate person who so selflessly cared for others.

To All Concerning; I will always remember Nedra as a kind, considerate, and loving person. A true dog lover. The world was a much better place with her in it, and she will be sadly missed. Nedra, words cannot express how terrible I fel when reading of your passing. I feel this explains why you have been weighing on my mind. The World was a much better place with you in it. Nedra was such a good friend of mine in Middle and High School. She had such a positive influence on me while growing up. I actually learned to play tag football from her kind instruction. I'm sure she touched many during her life in the same way.

Will always remember Nedra with fondness. She was our neighbor and befriended our grandchildren and dogs alike for some time. We could always count on her friendship.

Nedra was my best friend in high school. She was very intelligent and caring. I enjoyed ice skating with her.
