I am finding this news a little late. I have thought of Newton through the years. I had a quote from him that was on a board that I lost in a fire last. It was, If He takes his lovin' arms from around me, I fall." Always enjoyed him when at WT. A great dancer too. So sorry for your loss.

Newt, you will be missed. I will miss the times we called basketball together and how we laughed about all of it every time we saw each other. I know you are in a better place and look forward to seeing you one day. May God Bless your family during this time of grief. Rest well.

Newton was a great friend to me and my family, I always saw him as a family member. He was the first guy that welcomed me and my sister to Amarillo, he was one heck of a sportsman. He taught me the value of playing softball, (yes I did know how to play), but Newton taught me more of what was softball and volleyball. I never saw him with a sad face he was always laughing, smiling and them jokes. What a guy! I could go on but I can already see him telling me stop Sylvia.
Newton you will be dearly missed.

Newt you will be missed so much. I loved working with you and you always made me laugh. It was fun when you were with Jarod and he would come in the AHS office and sit in my lap and all 3 of us just laughed so hard. I have great memories of you. Prayers to your family. Good bye my friend.
