My daughter Kelsey rode the bus with Nick. As I read his letters, I could tell he was a very bright and smart young man. It was a tragedy for him to be taken at such a young age. But he is with the Lord now, and I am sure he is flying with his wings looking down over his parents and family and friends. His family is in our thoughts.

I was there that fateful morning and will never forget. Nick you will never be forgotten. I have read your newspaper piece and the letter to Mrs. Carlisle. You will forever be in our hearts and your family will be in my familys prayers. School has a time of mourning over it, right now. I know you are one of gods angels now. You will be well known and liked in heaven. No more busrides only flying through those pearly gates. You will be missed.
