Today marks 2 yrs since you left this world and us. It's been very tough NIck but we continue our every day lives as you would want. You are a constant good thought in my head on a daily basis and no one can take those wonderful memories away. This is our 2nd Holiday without you Nick and you are being remembered and missed so much. I have come to the realization that we can't see you, hold you or talk to you, but I know you are always with us. You are a part of me and my soul forever and I live my life as you would want me to Nick. I take you with me everywhere I go and not a day goes by that I don't think of you and wish I can hold you. My Dearest 1st born Nicholas Sean Blanchette, I can't begin to tell you what a hard year it has been without you. I find himself thinking of you every minute of each day especially when I hear your favorite song on the radio or see something that you would really appreciate. These thing will always be very special and important to me. The Memorial last week was amazing at Husky Monument. I know you were very pleased with the outcome with all your family and friend there with so much love for you. You will never be forgotten Nick. You were such a joyful, beautiful man and your memory will just keep on growing as long as we shall live. I love you always and Forever!!

Nicholas, this is Tracey Canedy / Wilson. I woke up this morning in disbelief that you're gone. I never thought in my wildest dreams you would be gone. I keep reliving our childhood together. Our families' camping trips to sleeping out on the trampoline together. I love you and miss you deeply. I wanted you to walk through your parent's house yesterday. I have a lot of good memories of my times spent with Nick but one that stands out is the day he saved myself, Bradley and Matthew from 2 rabid dogs that attacked us in a local dirt field. The kids were taking turns riding our quad mini as I sat in a lawn chair with a broken femur. We were suddenly attacked by these two vicious dogs. Nick ran to our rescue by running the quad straight at the dogs. As Bradley and Matthew ran to the house and I wobbled on my crutches I looked back and saw the dogs chasing after Nick at full stride as they disappeared from sight around the small mountain. 5 minutes later Nick rolled into the driveway with a big smile on his face. He was the HERO of the day. Godspeed Nick!
