Nicholas "Nick" Joseph Kidd, 23, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. The family will receive friends today (Monday, October 17th) between the hours of 4-7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18th at 9:00 am at the Basilica of St. Paul's; 317 Mullally Street, Daytona Beach. Nick was born December 15, 1987, in Daytona Beach. He attended and graduated from Spruce Creek High School, he enjoyed basketball, surfing, working with computers, cheering on his Miami Hurricane football team, but most of all Nick loved to fish. He is survived by his mother, Candace Kidd, Daytona Beach; his father, Joseph "Joe" Nicholas Kidd, Port Orange; his inseparable little sister; Britney Lauren Kidd, Daytona Beach; brothers, Colin Bellivelle, Daytona Beach, and Dalton Kidd, Port Orange; his maternal grandmother, Debra Rachow, Port Orange; maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Baker, Interlachen, FL; paternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Garrett, Daytona Beach; paternal great-grandparents, Walter and Elizabeth, Davich, Daytona Beach. dearest Nicholas it's been 6 month that you have been with your heavenly father and in the beautiful gates of heaven take care of your mother and father and brother and sisters our thoughts and prayers are with them as they struggle each day as to why I told your dad and Rachel it's time to catch another fish or go fishing in the beautiful waters of Florida god bless

I am so sorry for your loss. I never got the chance to meet Nick but my daughter Bianca always spoke highly of him and would say that he would always cheer her up when she was feeling sad. Nick will be missed.
