Nicholas Jerome Osborn

Celebrating the life of Nicholas Jerome Osborn, August 1948 ~ July 2013 Nick lived a blessed life. He was a man of genuine care, compassion, love and service to others. The pride and joy he had in his family was no secret, and his humor and silly spirit were enjoyed by all. He had a faith in God and in God's word that affected all who knew him with peace and with hope. Nick was born to Shirlee and Edward Osborn in Vallejo, Calif., along with his beloved brother, Daniel Osborn. He lived an adventurous life in southern California, where foundations were laid for long lasting friendships. There he met Barbra - they married and had four children: Rachel, Sara, Daniel and Anna. Nick deeply enjoyed times of fellowship with friends in ongoing bible studies, golfing sessions and the simple things, like an afternoon stroll with his grandkids. He was a handyman and could fix anything - he was just the right person to call in a time of need. He loved his job and excelled in not only punctuality and dedication, but always served with a smile and the heart to reach out to whoever was in his path. Nick passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, in San Luis Obispo, and the legacy of his life continues to live on. He will be greatly missed by all of his family, extended family and friends, old and new. We rejoice in the sure hope that he is now with Jesus, as his heart always desired. Please join us at Nick's memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday July 20, 2013, at Calvary SLO Church, 4029 S. Higuera St., in San Luis Obispo.
